In the past 24 hours, Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 38 Palestinians, including children, journalists, and emergency service personnel, amid escalating hostilities in the region.
Civilian Casualties and Targeted Strikes
Among the deceased is Dr. Alaa al-Najjar, a pediatrician who lost nine of her ten children in an airstrike on their home in Khan Younis. Her husband sustained severe injuries, while their 11-year-old son, Adam, is the sole surviving child.
In another incident, Israeli airstrikes in Khan Younis and Nuseirat killed at least 23 individuals, including journalist Hassan Majdi Abu Warda and Ashraf Abu Nar, a senior official in Gaza's civil emergency services.

Humanitarian Crisis Deepens
The ongoing conflict has severely impacted Gaza's healthcare infrastructure. Hospitals are overwhelmed, with 40% of essential treatments unavailable, leading to increased cases of malnutrition and disease.
The World Health Organization reported that Israeli airstrikes have damaged several medical facilities, including the Gaza European Hospital, hindering the delivery of critical healthcare services.
International Response and Future Outlook
The international community has expressed concern over the rising civilian death toll and the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Calls for a ceasefire and the protection of civilians have intensified.
As the conflict continues, the need for humanitarian aid and a resolution to the hostilities remains urgent.
